My name is Isaac, and I live and work on the coast of Maine. By day, I’m a graphic designer at WoodenBoat Publications in Brooklin, Maine. Weekends and evenings, I’m a father, husband, bass player and music fan. But after all that - late, late at night - I love making posters. There’s just something about the constraints and transience of poster making, and the vain challenge of creating something new, that bring me delight. I am inspired, of course, by the psychedelic and pioneering work of Mouse, Stanley, Wilson and Moscoso but also, and just as much, by the Russian Avant-Garde Film Poster and their American imitators.
Thanks for stopping by. If you’re in need of a poster, let’s talk.
